Russarö
Russarö lighthouse and fortress island is located about five kilometers south of the port of Hanko. The five-story stone lighthouse, known as the "Eye of Hanko," was completed in 1863. The most recent renovation of the lighthouse took place in 2014. Russarö is under the control of the defense forces.
