Kallbåda
The Kallbåda lighthouse is located on the outermost skerry of Porkkala. It was put into operation in December 1920. The height of the light above sea level is 21.4 meters, and its range is 14.3 nautical miles (26.5 kilometers). The dimensions of the base of the reinforced concrete structure are 15x20 meters. The foundation wall rises four meters above the water surface and is up to 2 meters thick. During the Continuation War, the Finnish army built a concrete bunker structure on top of the lighthouse terrace. It can be seen at the top of the walkway built in the 1980s. The Kallbåda skerry group is a seal protection area. One of the residents of the reserve in the foreground.
